Metoprolol
Metoprolol is a cardioselective ?1-adrenergic blocking agent with log Kd values of ?7.26±0.07, ?6.89±0.09, ?5.16±0.12 for ?1, ?2, and ?3 adrenoceptors, respectively. It is used for acute myocardial infarction, heart failure, angina pectoris and mild to moderate hypertension.
