4-Biphenylacetic acid (BPA) is a potential non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent and forms solid inclusion complex with ?-cyclodextrin. Its interaction with quinolone antibacterial agents can induce functional blockade of the ?-aminobutyric acid receptors.
