Perkin Elmer SilTite Ferrule Starter Kit 0.8mm PK/1; SilTite™: Metal Ferrules provide a continuous leak-free connection and are perfect for connecting your column to a GC/MS. The metal SilTite ferrule and nut are manufactured from the samematerial and will therefore not expand and contract at differentcoefficient rates. The base of the SilTite ferrule forms a perfectseal with the MS interface, covering the whole transfer interface. SilTite metal ferrules have a temperature limit well above thetemperature capacity of the injector, MS interface or GC oven. Thetaper of the inner nut is designed specifically for the angle ofthe SilTite ferrule. This ensures an even closure of the ferrulearound the whole column to eliminate leaks. - PE
